FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Sept. 7, 2018 – Hyundai Motor America’s director of Corporate Social Responsibility and Diversity & Inclusion, Zafar Brooks, was named to Assent Compliance’s list of Top 100 Corporate Social Responsibility Influence Leaders. The award recognizes leaders who embody corporate social responsibility, and use their influence to help others establish or improve their corporate social responsibility programs.

Through Zafar’s leadership, Hyundai executes programs to create better communities through philanthropic activities. He also leads the company’s diversity efforts to support a culture of inclusion and equality. As executive director of Hyundai Hope On Wheels, Hyundai’s non-profit organization to helps kids fight cancer, Brooks leads strategic direction and the grant program for Hyundai Hope On Wheels, which has donated $145 million to fund research for pediatric cancer.
The Top 100 Corporate Social Responsibility Influence Leaders List is independently researched by Lucas Taylor, University of Notre Dame MBA and LDT Consulting, on behalf of Assent Compliance. Many factors are included in the scoring criteria. Using the developed scoring algorithm, participants are added to the list and adjusted based on individual research by LDT Consulting.
