FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Feb. 15, 2016 – Hyundai Motor America named Kimberly Walker General Manager of the Western Region, effective March 1, 2016. In her new role, Walker will lead the day-to-day operations of more than 165 Hyundai dealerships across the 12 Western-most states in the United States. She will report to Hyundai’s Vice President of National Sales Derrick Hatami.

Walker joined Hyundai in 2006 and served roles in assurance products and consumer affairs prior to being named Director of Parts Marketing in 2008. Walker will be moving from her current role as Director of Retail Process and Sales Satisfaction to assume the Western Region responsibilities. 

Prior to joining Hyundai, Walker spent more than 12 years with Nissan North America, where she held numerous positions in sales, marketing, and parts and service in both the Nissan and Infiniti field organizations. Walker holds a Master of Business Administration from Chapman University.
