Dealers See Double Digit Tire Sales Increase Annually
Puts 333,000 Safer Vehicles on the Road
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Sept. 16, 2014 – Hyundai Motor America and its dealers announced today that the Hyundai Authorized Tire Center Program has resulted in more than one million tires sold. Using an average of three tires per transaction, means Hyundai and its dealers put 333,000 safer vehicles on the road with those one million tires. The re-launched Hyundai Authorized Tire Center Program in partnership with Dealer Tire became available to dealers on Apr. 1, 2011 in the United States. The Hyundai Authorized Tire Center allows customers to purchase replacement tires directly through Hyundai dealers and offers additional benefits.

Dealers participating in the Hyundai Authorized Tire Center Program provide:

In addition to selling one million tires, Hyundai dealers have also experienced a boost in parts-and-service sales nationwide. One million tire sales in just three-and-half-years showcases that Hyundai dealers have capitalized in an area where many dealerships lose revenue and future service visits.
