Program Allows Fans to Pick Dustin Johnson’s First-Round Playing Partner
KAPALUA, Maui, Hawaii, Dec. 18, 2013 – For the first time, PGA TOUR fans will choose a featured pairing in the first round of a tournament at the 2014 Hyundai Tournament of Champions. From now through December 30, voting will take place on PGATOUR.com’s Social Hub to determine who of three players will be paired with defending champion, Dustin Johnson; Masters champion Adam Scott, 2012 FedExCup champion Brandt Snedeker or six-time PGA TOUR winner Matt Kuchar. The Hyundai Tournament of Champions returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua in Maui, Hawaii from Jan. 2-6, 2014.
Fans can vote by visiting PGATOUR.com/socialhub until December 30, 2013, and track the real-time results on the Social Hub. The pairings will be revealed on January 1, 2014 and an exclusive PGA TOUR Google+ hangout will take place with Dustin Johnson and his playing partner on January 2, 2014.
