Overall, Hyundai Motor Corporation tied for third place with General Motors Corporation for Best Total Quality for an individual brand. The Total Quality Index measures total vehicle satisfaction among new car owners, reflecting not only the quality of the vehicles, but the emotional connections which accommodate all aspects of the ownership experience.

It received the highest honor in its category – Best Activation of a Sports Sponsorship – beating out Allstate and Pantech. COSTA MESA, Calif., May 16, 2013 – Hyundai is uniting with the Energy Department on a new public-private partnership called H2USA, which will focus on advancing hydrogen infrastructure to support more transportation energy options for U.S. consumers, including fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs). Named after the chemical symbol for hydrogen, the H2USA partnership brings together government agencies, gas suppliers, the hydrogen and fuel cell industries and automakers including Mercedes-Benz, Nissan and Toyota.

Announced at the 2013 New York International Auto Show in March, Assurance Connected Care is powered by the automaker’s Blue Link telematics platform, which now has enrolled over 400,000 subscribers. Assurance Connected Care makes Hyundai the only non-premium automaker to offer a complete package of complimentary safety and car care services to its owners.
