CAPITOL HYUNDAI OF SAN JOSE CELEBRATES FIRST FUEL CELL CUSTOMER DELIVERY IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
SAN JOSE, Calif., May 2, 2016 – Capitol Hyundai of San Jose, California, a proud member of the Del Grande Dealer Group, delivered the first zero-emissions Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell hydrogen electric vehicle in the Northern California region today. Capitol Hyundai is the fifth qualified dealer for Hyundai’s Tucson Fuel Cell, and the first Hyundai fuel cell dealer in Northern California. Hyundai was the first manufacturer in the U.S. to offer consumers the opportunity to lease a mass-produced fuel cell vehicle, the zero-emissions Tucson Fuel Cell CUV.
HYUNDAI TUCSON FUEL CELL DRIVERS ACCUMULATE MORE THAN ONE MILLION ZERO-EMISSION MILES
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., February 9, 2016 – Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell drivers have again surpassed an iconic threshold, accumulating more than 1,000,000 miles on the roads and highways of Southern California while emitting only clean water and replacing approximately 385 tons of CO2 emissions that would have been emitted from vehicles of similar size. Hyundai has delivered nearly 100 Tucson Fuel Cell crossovers since its introduction as the first mass-produced fuel cell in the U.S. market in June 2014.
HYUNDAI TUCSON FUEL CELL SETS LAND SPEED RECORD FOR PRODUCTION FUEL CELL SUV IN THE CALIFORNIA DESERT
SOGGY DRY LAKE, Calif., Dec. 2, 2015 – Hyundai’s Tucson Fuel Cell set the land speed record for a production hydrogen-powered SUV at the Soggy Dry Lake Bed of the California desert, with a top speed of 94.6 mph. The Tucson Fuel Cell is the first mass-produced fuel cell vehicle, with nearly 100 of these zero-emissions SUVs roaming the streets and highways of Southern California, the first of which was delivered to its owner in June 2014.
KEYES HYUNDAI IN LOS ANGELES ADDED TO GROWING COLLECTION OF HYUNDAI TUCSON FUEL CELL DEALERS
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 22, 2015 – Keyes Hyundai in Los Angeles became the fourth qualified dealer for Hyundai’s zero-emissions Tucson Fuel Cell hydrogen electric vehicle today. Hyundai is the only manufacturer in the U.S. currently offering consumers the opportunity to lease a mass-produced fuel cell vehicle, the zero-emissions Tucson Fuel Cell CUV. Since its launch in June 2014, Tucson Fuel Cell drivers have accumulated nearly 700,000 zero-emissions miles on the streets of Southern California Tucson Fuel Cell Zero-Emissions, helping improve air quality in the region. Hyundai has delivered more than 75 Tucson Fuel Cells since its introduction as the first mass-produced fuel cell vehicle in the U.S. market in June 2014.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., June 17, 2015 – Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell drivers have again surpassed an impressive threshold, accumulating enough emissions-free miles to reach the lunar surface and return, all while emitting only clean water vapor. A trip from the Earth to the moon and back varies with each lunar orbit, with 477,800 miles as an average round-trip distance. Hyundai has delivered 70 Tucson Fuel Cells since its introduction as the first mass-produced fuel cell in the U.S. market in June 2014.
HYUNDAI TUCSON FUEL CELLS ACCUMULATE NEARLY ONE-HALF MILLION ZERO-EMISSION MILES IN FIRST YEAR OF CONSUMER AVAILABILITY
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., June 10, 2015 – Today marks a full year of consumer availability for the first mass-produced fuel cell vehicle, the Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell CUV. This innovative hydrogen-powered CUV has been delivered to 70 Southern California residents, who have since accumulated more than 475,000 miles on their local streets and freeways, all while emitting only environmentally-friendly clean water vapor. The Tucson Fuel Cell CUV offers high-versatility, refueling speed similar to gasoline, and an estimated 265 miles of driving range, comparing favorably with similar gasoline vehicles.

For 2016, the Tucson Fuel Cell adds convenient HomeLink® connectivity to the mirror, allowing owners to open and close garage doors, security gates and even control home lighting systems via a button on the rearview mirror, which includes a digital compass. In addition, Tucson adds two new exterior color options to Winter White: Hydro Blue and Chromium Silver.
