Hyundai, which has called Southern California home since its arrival to the U.S. 30 years ago, is celebrating the return of the Los Angeles Rams to Southern California by becoming an official sponsor of the franchise. The Los Angeles Rams are the newest addition to Hyundai’s NFL team sponsorship lineup that includes the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, Minnesota Vikings, Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins, along with official car and SUV designations of the league.
2017 HYUNDAI SONATA PLUG-IN HYBRID DELIVERS CLASS-LEADING 27-MILE ALL-ELECTRIC RANGE
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. Sept. 12, 2016 – The 2017 Hyundai Sonata Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) offers a class-leading estimated 27 miles of all-electric range and can recharge in less than three hours with a Level-Two charger. It offers the best of both worlds by providing the power delivery of a hybrid gasoline engine, perfect for long trips, with the additional benefit of environmentally friendly all-electric range for commuting. As a result, many consumers will be able to complete their daily commute without using a single drop of fuel, and total estimated range is an impressive 590 miles. The 2017 Sonata Plug-in Hybrid receives a new exterior color palette early in the 2017 calendar year. It is built at the Asan, South Korea plant and is available now at Hyundai dealers.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. – September 1, 2016 – In its 18th year of joining the fight against childhood cancer, Hyundai Motor America and its nonprofit organization, Hyundai Hope On Wheels® announced that it will award $7.5 million in new pediatric cancer research grants to 34 hospitals across the U.S. during September, National Childhood Cancer Awareness month. Hope On Wheels’ September campaign will honor the brave children and families fighting the disease. Since 1998, Hyundai Hope On Wheels has awarded over $115 million in funding to childhood cancer research. Each year, some 15,000 children are diagnosed with cancer, making the disease the leading cause of death by disease for children in the U.S.
HYUNDAI LAUNCHES NEW ALL-IN-ONE OWNER’S APP TO ENHANCE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Aug. 24, 2016 – Hyundai is debuting a new mobile app for owners called MyHyundai with Blue Link. The new app integrates services currently available in the previously separate Blue Link and Car Care mobile apps. This MyHyundai app makes it even easier for customers to access Blue Link remote start, schedule service, get vehicle diagnostics and view how-to videos similar to how they can use the MyHyundai.com owner website. It will have additional features in the future. Compatible with smartphones and tablets, the MyHyundai app is available for free download on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
HYUNDAI INTRODUCES “PRIME NOW. DRIVE NOW.”
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Aug. 19, 2016 – Hyundai Motor America, in collaboration with Amazon, announces a limited-time, first-to-market on-demand vehicle test drive program, “Prime Now. Drive Now.,” in which prospective buyers in the Los Angeles/Orange County areas can book 2017 Hyundai Elantra test drives at the location of their choice through Amazon’s Prime Now service at www.amazon.com/primenowdrivenow. Launched in 2014, Prime Now is a way for Prime members in more than 25 metropolitan areas in the U.S. to get quick delivery on tens of thousands of items.
