LOS ANGELES, Nov. 17, 2014 – Hyundai Genesis owners will no longer need to remember to remote start their car on a hot afternoon or cold morning. They won’t need to guess an appropriate departure time to make a seven o’clock dinner reservation. This is because Hyundai Motor America has launched its Genesis Intelligent Assistant smartphone app using award-winning Blue Link technology to help complete these tasks for them.

The next-generation Blue Link system features a destination search powered by Google™, maintenance alerts and a new Hyundai Assurance Car Care in-vehicle app, which debuts on the all-new Sonatas with Navigation. Blue Link is an innovative telematics solution that brings seamless connectivity for safety, car care and infotainment capabilities and is offered in three packages: Connected Care, Remote and Guidance. The all-new 2015 Sonata goes on sale this summer.

The Engadget editorial staff evaluated innovation, design, market appeal and functionality of all the automotive products at CES to select the four finalists. At this time, Engadget readers may vote for their nomination of People's Choice by choosing their favorite product from the list of finalists.

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6, 2014 – Hyundai Motor America launched its enhanced Blue Link® in-vehicle telematics platform, secured and integrated by Covisint, today at Pepcom’s Digital Experience, right before the opening of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES®). The next-generation Blue Link system features a destination search powered by Google™, a Genesis Intelligent Assistant app and a Google Glass app. All these enhancements launch on the new 2015 Genesis sedan, which goes on sale in the Spring. Hyundai also used the event to debut its latest infotainment system premiering in the 2015 Genesis sedan.

COSTA MESA, Calif., May 16, 2013 – Starting today, all new Blue Link-equipped Hyundai vehicles will come standard with three years of complimentary Assurance Connected Care service. Announced at the 2013 New York International Auto Show in March, Assurance Connected Care is powered by the automaker’s Blue Link telematics platform, which now has enrolled over 400,000 subscribers. Assurance Connected Care makes Hyundai the only non-premium automaker to offer a complete package of complimentary safety and car care services to its owners.

COSTA MESA, Mar. 27, 2013 – Hyundai Motor America today launched Assurance Connected Care at the New York International Auto Show. As the next evolution of Hyundai Assurance, Assurance Connected Care provides Hyundai owners with proactive safety and car care services made possible by the Hyundai Blue Link telematics platform. Starting May 16, 2013, all Blue Link-equipped new vehicle purchases will come standard with three years of Assurance Connected Care service. This makes Hyundai the only manufacturer to offer built-in emergency and Car Care support services for three years at no charge.
HYUNDAI DEBUTS NEXT-GENERATION AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY AT CES
