MONTGOMERY, Ala., Oct. 13, 2016 – Car owners in Montgomery will have the opportunity to participate in the Hyundai Before Service Experience Tour on Oct. 19 at the company's assembly plant there for the second year in a row. At this tour stop, participants will have the opportunity to get their vehicle inspected for free regardless of make or age. Hyundai started the Before Service Tour in 2015 to bring attention to the importance of car care and preventative maintenance. It reminds consumers to take care of any issues that may have occurred or been ignored. Some preparation now will help ensure driving plans go smoothly throughout the holiday season.

HYUNDAI MOTOR MANUFACTURING ALABAMA, LLC ADDING THIRD PRODUCTION SHIFT
Montgomery, Ala., April 30, 2012 -- Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama, LLC (HMMA) today announced plans to add a third shift of production at its Montgomery facility. HMMA will add 877 positions to support the addition of the third shift bringing the total number of jobs created at the plant to more than 3,000. HMMA’s 2012 production capacity will increase by approximately 20,000 units.
Leadership Changes at HMMA
MONTGOMERY, Ala., June 1, 2005 – After successfully completing construction, launching commercial production and a major grand opening event, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama’s (HMMA) leadership team will undergo several changes. This is part of Hyundai Motor Company’s strategy and on-going management philosophy to transition the leadership team that was responsible for construction and the start of commercial production with a new team that will oversee HMMA’s transition to full-scale commercial production.

HYUNDAI MOTOR COMPANY ANNOUNCES IT WILL BUILD ITS FIRST U.S. MANUFACTURING PLANT IN MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA
SEOUL, Korea, April 2, 2002 – Hyundai Motor Company (HMC), Korea’s largest automotive manufacturer, today announced it has approved construction of a $1 billion automotive assembly and manufacturing plant in Montgomery, Alabama. Hyundai said the facility – the company’s first assembly and manufacturing plant in the U.S. – will begin production in 2005, creating approximately 2,000 plant jobs in Montgomery and the surrounding area.
