SUPERIOR TOWNSHIP, MICH., April 21st, 2016 – Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) has named Dr. Minsup Lee to the newly created position of vice president. In this role, Dr. Lee will assist HATCI President William Freels in leading Hyundai’s design, technology and engineering activities for the North American market. Additionally, Dr. Lee will coordinate with Hyundai Research and Development headquarters in Namyang, South Korea.

Hyundai Motor and LACMA introduce ‘The Sympathetic Imagination’ in Los Angeles
November 20, 2015 – Hyundai Motor and Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) have raised the curtain on the latest in a series of provocative exhibitions; Diana Thater: The Sympathetic Imagination. The new exhibit, which runs from November 22 until February 21 2016, presents 22 influential works of art in film, video and physical installation together in one location for the first time. The project continues Hyundai Motor’s dedication to making emotional connections while enabling better access to experiencing art.
Hyundai Motor and LACMA’s first project ‘Rain Room’ exhibit opens in Los Angeles
October 29, 2015 – Hyundai Motor and Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) held a special opening ceremony for Rain Room exhibition at the LACMA on October 28. The Rain Room is the first of Hyundai Motor and LACMA’s decade-long partnership program. The new exhibit opens to the public on November 1, running until March 6, 2016. The project is part of Hyundai Motor’s continuous efforts to making emotional connections while enabling better access to experiencing art.

Hyundai Progresses in Europe
RUSSELSHEIM, Germ., Oct. 25, 2005 – Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center GmbH (HMETC) informed about the date of the topping-out ceremony for its R&D site expansion at its headquarters location Blauer See in Rüsselsheim. Having had the groundbreaking earlier this year in June, HMETC will celebrate the topping-out ceremony on October 27th, 2005, together with its employees, the developer AMCO as well as the construction company TAKENAKA.
