KATHY PARKER - VICE PRESIDENT, HUMAN RESOURCES AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS

  Kathy Parker joined Hyundai Motor America in 1988 as an analyst in the Administration department. She was named Vice President, Human Resources and Community Relations in 2005 after 14 years in the department. She is responsible for establishing Human Resources policy direction for Hyundai Motor America (HMA) and Hyundai Motor Finance Company and for providing counsel in all Human Resources related areas for new Hyundai operations in the United States. She is also responsible for directing Hyundai's community relations efforts.

Before becoming a member of the Human Resources division, Kathy worked in several departments at Hyundai, including Administration, Human Resources and Marketing where she was a member of the launch team for the Hyundai Advantage, America's Best Warranty program.

Kathy is a board member of the American Red Cross and a member of the Society of Human Resources Management. She lives in Yorba Linda with her husband and twin daughters.

Kathy graduated from UCLA with degree in History and received her MBA from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
