HYUNDAI REPORTS OCTOBER SALES

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., 11/01/2005 Hyundai Motor America sold 29,413 units during the month of October. Year-to-date sales of Hyundai vehicles in the U.S. are up 7.6 percent over the same period, 2004. The all-new Sonata led sales in October with 9,676 units, up 13 percent over last year. "Automobile buyers in the U.S. are looking for value more than ever," said Mark Barnes, vice-president of national sales for Hyundai Motor America. "Hyundai's solid lineup of vehicles deliver that value," he added.

All Hyundai cars and sport utility vehicles sold in the U.S. are covered by The Hyundai Advantage, America's Best Warranty. Hyundai buyers are protected by a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, a 5-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, a 7-year/unlimited-mile anti-perforation warranty and 5-year/unlimited-mile roadside assistance protection.
