HYUNDAI SALES FOR JULY

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., 08/01/2003 Hyundai Motor America today announced sales of 36,316 vehicles for the month of July. Year-to-date sales of Hyundai vehicles in the U.S. are up 3.9 percent. "Our sales are continuing at a strong pace because the lineup of Hyundai vehicles delivers the kind of value consumers are looking for," said Robert Cosmai, vice president of national sales for Hyundai Motor America. "Hyundai's July sales were led by the Santa Fe sport utility vehicle, the compact Elantra and the midsize Sonata sedan, which set an all-time record for sales in July."

"All Hyundai vehicles sold in the U.S. are also covered by the Hyundai Advantage, America's Best Warranty, which includes the outstanding 10-year/100,000 Powertrain Warranty," Cosmai said. "It's all part of the great Hyundai value story."
