HYUNDAI SETS NEW ALL-TIME MONTHLY SALES RECORD

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., 07/01/2005 Hyundai Motor America today announced sales of 43,051 vehicles for the month of June, setting a new all-time, single-month record for the company. Leading the way was the Elantra with sales of 11,910 units. SUV sales were also very strong with combined Santa Fe and Tucson sales of 14,567, establishing an all-time record for monthly SUV sales.

"We're very pleased that consumers continue to recognize the quality and value Hyundai offers throughout the product line-up," said Ed Bradley, Hyundai's vice president, National Sales. "Tucson's recognition as the segment leader in the 2005 Strategic Vision Total Quality Study is further reinforcement of the confidence consumers have in Hyundai products."

All Hyundai cars and sport utility vehicles sold in the U.S. are covered by The Hyundai Advantage, America's Best Warranty. Hyundai buyers are protected by a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, a 5-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, a 7-year/unlimited-mile anti-perforation warranty and 5-year/unlimited-mile roadside assistance protection.
