HYUNDAI SALES CONTINUE TO CLIMB, MARCH SALES SET NEW RECORD FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., 04/03/2001 Hyundai Motor America today announced sales of 27,715 vehicles for the month of March, setting a new March sales record for the company and up 26 percent over the previous year. "March sales set yet another record for Hyundai and we expect our strong sales to continue," said Robert Cosmai, vice-president of sales for Hyundai Motor America. "Our product lineup is fresh and we expect sales of our Santa Fe sport utility vehicle will continue to grow as plant capacity increases," he added. "In addition to our complete line of high-quality, high-value vehicles, another factor bringing customers into Hyundai showrooms is The Hyundai Advantage, America's Best Warranty" Cosmai said. "Hyundai buyers are covered by a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, a 5-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, a 5-year/100,000-mile anti-perforation warranty and 5-year/unlimited-mile roadside assistance protection," he added.
