The Hyundai SI Photo Tour kicked off Friday, July 6 in Minneapolis, MN. The interactive marketing experience showcases SI’s award-winning photography and highlights images of “smart discoveries” in sport thru the years – from Dick Fosbury’s signature Fosbury Flop to the “middle-of-the action” net camera at NHL games. Fans will also have a chance to have their picture taken on the cover of Sports Illustrated. “We are thrilled to be a part of Sports Illustrated Photo Tour as SI’s ‘smart discoveries’ is in synch with Hyundai’s ‘smart thinking’ marketing campaign ” remarked Monique Morin Kumpis, Hyundai’s manager, Experiential Marketing. Atlanta-based Vivid Marketing will manage the tour which kicks off at the Basilica Block Party in Minneapolis, MN on July 6. From there, the tour will make stops in 12 states over the course of 15 weeks ending in Atlanta on October 14.
