Hyundai will be one of the most visible sponsors of Super Bowl XLIV on Sunday, February 7 with a total of eight ads airing throughout the day. 2010 marks Hyundai’s third consecutive year of advertising during the nation’s largest sporting event and second consecutive year sponsoring the Kickoff Show.

HYUNDAI MOTOR AMERICA JANUARY 2010 SALES

Hyundai Motor America today announced January sales of 30,503 units, up 24 percent versus January 2009. This marks the thirteenth consecutive month of year-over-year retail market share gains for Hyundai and our best retail share performance since the government’s “Cash-for-Clunkers” program in August 2009.

	HYUNDAI ANNOUNCES PRICING FOR THE ALL-NEW 2011 SONATA Hyundai Motor America has announced prices for the all-new 2011 Sonata. The completely redesigned 2011 Sonata delivers best-in-class fuel economy, an EPA-designated Large Car interior, 198 horsepower and a starting price of $19,195 for the well-equipped GLS model. The 200-horsepower SE model starts at $22,595 and the top-of-the-line Limited model is available for $25,295. (1 Feb 10)

	ELANTRA TOURING NAMED A TOP FAMILY CAR BY ABOUT.COM CARS About.com Cars recognized the Hyundai Elantra Touring on its list of Top Ten Family Cars under $20,000 for its big cargo bay, list of standard features and affordable price tag. Other cars that made the list include the Mazda5, Volkswagen Jetta, Subaru Impreza, Kia Rondo, Dodge Caliber, Scion xB, Honda Fit and Nissan Cube. “Finding a budget-friendly car is tough enough; when you have kids, it becomes more difficult,” said Aaron Gold, About.com Cars.
